Below is a list of useful resources relating to research data management:

DMPonline

DMPonline is a web-based tool that contains data management plan templates for all of the major research funders. It contains guidance on what to include, along with providing a data management plan checklist and a range of example data management plans. To use DMPonline, you must register with the site, but you can link your account to your Exeter credentials and sign-on using the Exeter single sign-on.

JISC RDM Toolkit

This toolkit provides support by signposting resources from a wide range of websites and organisations, sorted by topic and audience.

UK Data Service Learning Hub

A hub which provides best practice guidance, as well as resources, to those looking to learn more about how to manage their research data.

Wellcome Open Research Hub

A hub for the Wellcome Open Research resources on data sharing to help all researchers shift to open research practices.

UK Reproducibility Network

A collection of Open Research primers designed to introduce important topics in open and reproducible scholarship.

JISC Sherpa-Juliet

A searchable resource containing research funder Open Access and Data Archiving requirements.

FOSTER Open Science Training Courses

A series of online courses providing answers to the most common questions about putting open science into practice, developed by the EU funded project FOSTER Plus.

MANTRA MANTRA is an online course designed by the University of Edinburgh for anyone who is interested in managing data for a research project.
GW4 RDM TriageTool This is an interactive tool developed by the GW4 Alliance (a collaboration between the University of Bath, the University of Bristol, Cardiff University, and the University of Exeter) that can help answer some basic queries relating to research data management. Note that this tool is only available to members of the GW4 Alliance, who will first need to request access to the GW4 portal.
